So, I’m not the biggest fan of country music. No offense to any of you out there who like to get down to songs about trucks and women who you meet down at the honky-tonk but who break up with you the next day and then steal that truck and also your dog ran away and man the only way you can deal with it is to just, like, hotstep RIGHT NOW. It’s cool, it’s just not my thing.

But music about the country is different. The kind of stuff you hear in anything with an Old West aesthetic, like Red Dead Redemption or Firefly. Heavy on the lonely guitar, sparse percussion, fiddle, and maybe some guy just whistling like a boss. I love me some of that.

So that’s what I have for you this week. Hope you like it; was going for a lonely wanderer kind of vibe. Enjoy!

A Leaf on the Wind

Also, holy crap, I’ve done 50 of these!
